Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
Please read these terms and conditions carefully outlined below before booking any lessons with Swim Lab UK. By booking lessons with us, you’ll be deemed to have accepted to be legally bounded by these Terms and Conditions.
Parents/Guardian Responsibility
- Our Instructors can only be responsible for swimmers during their scheduled lesson.The lessons starts when the instructor takes charge of the swimmer from you.
- You are responsible for providing us with up to date health or any other relevant swimmer’s information when you complete the registration form to book lessons. You are also responsible for providing us with any changes in the child’s health, signs of illness, injuries or taken any type of medication in the last 24 hours before the lesson.
- You are required to adhere to any health and safety rules imposed by us and are responsible for ensuring that anybody accompanying you adheres to those rules.
Bookings & Payment
- You must complete the booking form for all swimmers.
- All Lessons must be booked in advance before the term starts, for the whole term with a fixed day and time.
- If the term has started, fees will be charged on a ‘pro-rata’ basis.
- You must pay before the term starts or before attending the first lesson.
- Your place is only confirmed once we receive the payment & booking form, we will provide a email confirmation for your booking.
- We accept bank transfer.
Non- attendance
- You will not be refunded for non-attendance (illness, holiday, other).
- We hold the right to retain payment for booked lessons, regardless of the attendance.
Cancellations
- You must submit an email to Info@swimlabuk.com at least one week before the first date of the start of the term. Failure to provide one week’s notice will result in full charges for the first two lessons.
- If you cancel & provide writing to Info@swimlabuk.com after lesson 1 but before lesson 6 you will receive a refund for the remaining lessons in the term.
- If you cancel after lesson 6 of the term, you will be charged in full for the entire term (normally 11-13 lessons per term).
- We may cancel lessons at short notice for reasons such as, emergencies, pool closure or teacher sickness. Credit or a refund for that lessons will be provided.
Your Data
- Your personal information will only be used by us for contact purposes and will not be shared externally
Etiquette/Hygiene & Safeguarding
- Strictly no photography or videos allowed
- No outdoor footwear to be worn near the viewing gallery, you must wear shoe covers, clean flip flops or go bare foot.
- Ensure swimmer have not eaten at least 1 hour prior to the lesson.
- At no point must parents interact or distract teachers or swimmers whilst lessons are in progress.
- Parents are allowed to approach poolside in the event of health and safety.
Glossary
Within these Terms and Conditions:
- ‘We’, ‘Our’, ‘Us’ - Refers to Swim Lab UK Ltd or (where appropriate) to our instructor
- ‘Instructor' -Means the individual swimming instructor in charge of a lesson.
- ‘You’, ‘Your’ -Refers to the person entering into this contract
- ‘Your Child’ ‘swimmers’ -Means the individual child or adult who will be participating in the swimming lesson
